Welcome to Carnlough Integrated Primary School.
Carnlough CIPS is an exciting and innovative community primary school located on the scenic Antrim coast. Our school provides education for children between the ages of 4 and 11 years from all or no faith backgrounds and is committed to providing the highest standard of education for every pupil. We believe a strong home/school partnership plays an essential part in teaching our children and preparing them for the future. Our school is one where every child matters and each individual’s ability is recognised, developed and rewarded.
We make good use of our beautiful location to enhance our children’s learning experiences and we are proud of the links we have with local community groups, our Parent Teacher Association and Glens Community of Learning Partnership schools.
Our motto ‘Learning Together’ sets out our vision for the school. We meet the needs of all our children with empathy, enthusiasm and skill. All our children, regardless of gender, religion or ability, come together to learn and grow. Our enthusiastic team provides a rich and exciting curriculum that allows each child to grow and learn. The holistic development of each child is our priority as we aim to develop creative young thinkers who have an enthusiastic approach to learning. We are proud of our integrated status and truly believe in the values for which integration stands.
“…integration symbolises the new Northern Ireland where the community works side by side for the benefit of all.”
